We can live like Jack and Sally if we want...
I can’t believe Halloween is tomorrow! The Hubster and I are totally unprepared this year again, but last year we did end up looking great though and it only took us 30 minutes to throw our costumes together. We went as Jack and Sally from a Nightmare Before Christmas.
The Hubster made an excellent Jack Skellington. For his cotumes he wore a black suit, sprayed his hair white, painted...

Bonne Hiver!
I was all set to do a personal style post today, but I have BREAKING NEWS! Today was our first day of snow. It was big and fluffy and oh so magical.
I know everyone else is probably still loving their fall weather, trench coats and beautiful rich tones. But I am all set for winter with chunky knits and big scarves, and now I have the snow to go with it.
We are so excited for snow...

First Bridal Item in my Shop
I just made my very first bridal veil and I am super excited! It’s not too big and the delicate flowers are pretty whimsical.
I dream of this piece being part of someone’s magical day.
My favorite part of this piece (which I plan on making my signature in all my bridal pieces) is the double layer blue heart on the bottom. It’s really meaningful; with two hearts together...

Here’s how it happened- Recently, I was commissioned to do a Tardis inspired fascinator by someone through twitter. For...

Our First Independent Home Made Thanksgiving
The Hubster and I made our first big move away from our families this year, and sadly that meant that we could not spend Thanksgiving (Canadian) with them. So, we pulled up our big kids pants (and skirt!) and did Thanksgiving on our own.
To our surprise it was really very simply and actually quite delightful. We spent the day together making the meal and enjoyed our supper with others who...

How To Make Baked Apples!
My Hubster and I recently moved from a bustling city full of restaurants, food vendors, pre-made food at the grocery store and food related jobs. We never cooked (I know, it’s pathetic). But since we moved to this isolated charming little town, there is no pre-made food to be found. So, we had to start making our own food and it turns out it’s really easy and fun and delicious.
My...

The Life
Hey Party Peeps! Thanks to everyone for sticking around during my long absences in the past months. I am back now for good. I think I was struggling with the blog being just about fashion and style. There are so just many things in my love that I love and find inspiring, so I found it hard to just focus on one thing all the time. So, I am making the switch from straight up DIY fashion/style blog...
