Spring Breeze
This has been a miserable spring for us in Eastern Canada, cold and rainy everyday. But fortunately we had one sorta nice sunny-but-breezy day this week, so my Hubsterand I went out for a little spring walk. And while we were out my kind Hubster took some outfit photos for me. So this is my bumming-around-town-nothing-special outfit post.
The dress is from Old Navy, jean jacket from high...

Place Mat Tablet Case DIY
Well I am at it again, another place mat DIY. I can’t help it, place mats just call to me. They are something so mundane, and I just see amazing potential in every one.
In this DIY I turned a wooden (maybe bamboo again) place mat into a IPad or Tablet case. It actually could be used for a clutch, or a notebook holder.
Supplies—> A place mat (that can be folded), hot glue,...

Until then, here is some more of my personal style.
Anyway, this is the outfit I wore to work on Monday....

Flea Market Find
I didn’t get a chance to go to my usual Sunday Morning flea market this week, but I forgot to share this photo of my most amazing antique brass necklace I got a few weeks ago.
I am in love with this necklace. It is so bold and regal. This kind of piece is why I continue to hunt around flea markets and thrift stores for jewelry and clothes. You never know what amazing pieces you’ll...

Quickie Crystal DIY pt.2
Hello Darlings! Well, to my happy surprise it was an easy fix for my laptop, so I am up and running again. However, now I have a full weekend of photos and DIYs to upload and go through. So I thought I would start with another quick Crystal DIY. I am kinda obsessed with these. They are so easy to work with and look really gorgeous. I think crystals look really nice with summer flowy dresses and...

Rain, Rain, Rain Won't Cramp My Style...well, not...
So, it has been raining non-stop for weeks. Which I don’t mind that much, but it does make it really hard to find great outfits that work in the rain. And it makes it really hard to take outfit post pictures. But I braved the elements and here is what I have to show for it.
If I look rather displeased in this photo it’s because I had to use such a unflattering background. This is...

Quickie Crystal DIYs
Hello. I have been kinda stuck creatively this past week, but I finally got it together today after a trip out with the hubster. I found this darling little Art & Stone store downtown that has all these crazy crystals, fossils and stones. It was a really awesome store and I came away with a lot of great stuff. When I got home with my swag I remembered seeing these chain and crystal earrings in...

Running Errands
I know most people find running errands to be a lot of work and they are just something you “have to” do. But I love running errands. Getting so much accomplished all in one go, walking around town and running into people you know. Plus walking around in a great outfit is always enjoyable. This is my go-to carefree on the go errand running outfit.
This dress is Old Navy, the scarf...
ciaoeli asked: Hey! I saw your diy Chanel earrings post last night and I ran to the craft store to get some supplies so I could make them too (: They came out really cute and if you don't look too close (glue shows a bit), they actually look legit haha. I plan on perfecting them and add some rhinestones. I'm currently going through your blog and finding some more ideas (: thank you for making that...

Place Mat Clutch DIY
Hello, Hello! I having been working on this DIY for a while now, it is super easy and leaves lots of room for your own creative spin. But before we get started I would like to apologize for the photos. For some reason I was sitting on the floor as I was making this, so the photos aren’t the best and you can clearly see my ugly 1970’s couch. I am so very sorry. Anyway… As I was...

Flea Market Finds
I would like to apologize to all my beautiful followers for my absence this week, I caught a major cold and have been laid up for the past few days. But I am putting together another DIY for the weekend, but today I thought I would share my amazing Flea Market finds.
My hubster and I go to the Sunday Flea Market almost every week, but last week I really scored some great stuff. This woman was...
