Roxie Fitz Designs is now open for business.

This is what I have been putting all my love, time, sweat and tears into, my very own Etsy shop.  I have been putting all my good DIY skills to good use by putting them up for sale. So, please go check it out and share with your friends.

I hope to put up one new piece a week, so keep checking back for new things. Also, if you are looking for some custom work please shoot me an email at roxiefitz@gmail.com

much love.

p.s. 10% of every purchase will be donated to the Dress for Success charity, that helps disadvantaged women by giving them professional clothing and career advice

Busy Bee

Okay, so I know I keep apologizing for being away and ignoring my lil blog even though everyone continues to support me. First, I have been really busy making pieces for my Etsy shop (more info in next post). Second, I am not sure a daily outfit post blog is really what I want to write. I think what I enjoy most is posting DIY ideas and projects. Since writing my blog is for enjoyment I should be posting what I enjoy. So, I am now going to be posting only DIY ideas and projects, also I will be posting how to upcycle old pieces from your existing wardrobe. I hope to have my first one up in the next couple of days.

I hope you’ll keep sticking with me while I keep going through these changes to make this blog the best I can make it.

much love.

P.S. if anyone would like to guest post a DIY project, or has any ideas for DIY projects please message me or email me at fabricstripsrubylips@gmail.com

Texture Love

Hello Beauties! I am really happy to be getting back into the swing of blogging, I had kinda forgotten how much fun it is to plan outfits with care and think about details. I am loving my outfit today, although I am a little uncomfortable with bare arms. I think if I had left my house I would have had to put on a sweater. Plus, it is chilly enough to need a sweater. But thankfully today I am just hanging out at home waiting for the internet and cable guy, although it’s been like 8 hours and he still isn’t here which is a bit frustrating. But moving on…Since I can’t leave the house I had to take the photos in my house and sadly it didn’t really work out. So I apologize for the lack of full view photos.

The shoes are Old Navy, the skirt and camisole are Joe Fresh, and the lace top is Majorie.

I made this cuff yesterday it’s not half bad if I do say so myself. This is my favorite color ever, and I love to slip it into any outfit I can.

I got this blue and brown scarf from my BFF as a birthday gift <3 I love how much it stands out from underneath my dark hair.

I love the style of these suede wedges, and they are super easy to walk in. However, they are horrible uncomfortable.

I think what I love so much about this outfit is all the different textures together: suede boots, cotton scarf, lace top, leather cuff, and canvas skirt. I have always been a cotton and cotton kinda girl, but this year I am devoting myself to adding more texture to each outfit (and to losing some pounds).

Sorry this is a little wordy, I guess I must be getting lonely waiting for the cable guy.

much love.

What province do you live in? :)

I was born and raised on the beautiful East Coast in New Brunswick, but I just moved to a picturesque small town in Northern Quebec.
