Place Mat Tablet Case DIY
Well I am at it again, another place mat DIY. I can’t help it, place mats just call to me. They are something so mundane, and I just see amazing potential in every one.

In this DIY I turned a wooden (maybe bamboo again) place mat into a IPad or Tablet case. It actually could be used for a clutch, or a notebook holder.

Supplies—> A place mat (that can be folded), hot glue, scissors and a belt (that can be cut, so preferably fabric not leather or plastic).

Step 1—> Fold your place mat in half, then reposition it so that there is a flap that can be folded over. Take your hot glue gun and glue each side of the place mat.

Step 2—> With the flap folded down, place your belt buckle directly below the flap and in the center of the place mat. Glue down with lots of hot glue.

Step 3—> Working your way around the place mat, glue down the belt.

Step 4—> Glue the belt down the front over the flap. Once you reach the edge of the flap, stop gluing and fasten the belt. Then cut the excess belt to fit the size of the place mat. Be creative with your cut, don’t just do a straight across.

Then put something in it and use it with glee.
I hope everyone is having an excellent week and putting their creativity to use.
Much Love.
