Travel Time

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know that I suck at packing. It takes me weeks to organize but I still over pack and end up with a bunch of stuff I don’t need and nothing I do need. But worse is that I have to lug around a million heavy bags. However, this time Hubster and I vowed to learn how to pack properly and not be weighed down by luggage. So we went out got us a couple of backpacks and went to work.

I chose a Jansport backpack because they are inexpensive and have a lifetime warranty. Plus they come in every color imaginable; I chose the Pink Poodle superbreak backpack. Isn’t it adorable? I am trying very hard to stay stylish while being super practical. I think I’m doing an alright job. Although as you can see the pack is a little overstuffed but I am working on it. Someday I will glide through airports as gracefully as Audrey Hepburn.

The Hubster did his best to pack with his one bag, but he needed a lot of help. He didn’t know how to properly roll his clothing to make it more compact. But I helped him out and it did eventually get everything inside.

I picked this one for Hubster from an etsy shop called Medium Control, it’s their Drop the Needle backpack. I really love the canvas green and cool hipster logo. It’s a little small, but it fit all his things and it looks really nice on.
Well, we’re off on our little holiday. I hope you guys have a fabulous couple of weeks. I’ll miss y’all.
much love.
First Bridal Item in my Shop
I just made my very first bridal veil and I am super excited! It’s not too big and the delicate flowers are pretty whimsical.

I dream of this piece being part of someone’s magical day.
My favorite part of this piece (which I plan on making my signature in all my bridal pieces) is the double layer blue heart on the bottom. It’s really meaningful; with two hearts together as one and it’s blue so it takes care of the tricky something blue tradition.
Please check out my shop Roxie Fitz Designs.
much love
