Chickens Wings Recipe
So, I was all set to do a lovely outfit post and then…
…this happened. Can you believe it? Needless to say I am a little disappointed. Plus it’s preventing me from showing you my snazzy outfit because after walking home in this my mascara was halfway down my cheeks and my hair deflated.
Instead I’m going to share my recipe for baked chicken wings!
- Chicken Wings
- Olive Oil
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees, and line a cookie sheet with tin foil.
Wash your chicken off thoroughly and put them in a bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken wings. Pour your spices over the wings and mix’em up.
Now onto the spices; here are some combinations I use:
Salt, Pepper and Garlic salt
Chilli flakes, Sea Salt and Pepper
Paprika, cumin, red pepper, corinader, black pepper and cardamom
Once the wings are fully coated, I mean coated, pop’em in the oven for 50 minutes.
I totally recommend these because they are baked and don’t have a bread coating. And they are especially fun on a date night because you can get creative in the kitchen together coming up with new spice combinations to try.
I hope you guys are enjoying some sunshine for me.
Vegetarian Glazed Chocolate Doughnut Cake!
You know those pages on your cookbooks that are covered in sugar or wrinkly from spills and so many uses you can’t count? For me that page in my cookbook is the Best Chocolate Cake from the Quick Vegetarian Pleasures by Jeanne Lemlin. Now I am not a vegetarian but this recipe is so delicious, you don’t miss all the butter. But no recipe in a cookbook is truly perfect, you need to put your own spin on it. So, here is my version of this cake, which I have named “Vegetarian Glazed Chocolate Doughnut Cake!”
