Bonne Hiver!

I was all set to do a personal style post today, but I have BREAKING NEWS! Today was our first day of snow. It was big and fluffy and oh so magical.

I know everyone else is probably still loving their fall weather, trench coats and beautiful rich tones. But I am all set for winter with chunky knits and big scarves, and now I have the snow to go with it.

We are so excited for snow shoeing, hot cocoas and snowball fights. (Doesn’t the Hubster look so handsome in his grey waffle shirt and hat?)

It is a french tradition to call out to everyone “Bonne Hiver” on the first snow of the year. It is a wish for a good winter or happy winter. So…BONNE HIVER Everyone!

Happy Winter, may it be full of love, fashion and kisses!

It Takes Two When It Use To Take One

Hello Beauties! I know you are probably sick of hearing my wedding anniversary but this is the last post on the subject I swear! I convinced the Hubster to do an outfit post with me before our big date. It was probably my favorite shoot and I think it turned out the best.

Hubster is wearing a vest from RW&Co, Bluenotes jeans, and a shirt from a discount store in the mall. I am wearing a thrifted skirt from Lovely Betty’s (local thrift shop), a belt from Le Chateau, and DIY earrings.

I bought this maxi skirt a couple of weeks ago at a thrift shop, but I haven’t really figured out how to style it. I am just not sure what shirt to pair it with, everything makes me look too conservative. But I really wanted to wear it, so I pulled it up, belted it and wore it as a dress. I really love how it looks though, I love the layers they are so whimsical. And, to my surprise, it stayed up really well.

I really love this shot, it looks like the album cover to a folk duo album. <3
I hope to finish a new DIY for tomorrow, so stay tuned.
much love.
It’s our 3rd wedding anniversary today and we are as happy as ever.
much love.
I am super swamped this week, so I thought I would just post a photo of me and my Hubster looking our most fabulous dressed as a couple from the 1940’s.
Have a good week dahlings.
Much Love.
