Comfort

I know comfortable is suppose to be a bad word when style and fashion is concerned, but I like to be comfortable. I think most people like to be comfortable and I think showing that you can have great style and still be comfortable is something personal style bloggers excel at. There is no need to bind yourself into tight clothing, or wear 10 inch stiletto heels or put on something that you need to fuss over all day (although all those things are fun and necessary sometimes). This is my most comfortable outfit. The shoes are as comfortable as they get, the fabrics breath and move with me and there aren’t any bells and whistles to worry about.

much love.

FAKER

These photos are a lie. By the way I am dressed it would look like I am enjoying some warm weather because I have no socks or tights on, no sweater or scarf. This is all a lie. It is still in the negatives most days, and there is an abundance of snow on the ground. But yesterday I felt like dressing as if it were spring in my part of the world too.  So two minutes after I took these photos I had to put tights on because I had goosebumps.
I really love this outfit, I love the denim, gray and orange altogether, I think it is a lovely combo. So lovely I have barely taken it off, even if a jersey dress isn’t the most flattering.

Dress + Jean Jacket- Old Navy

Necklace- DIY

I really wanted a new colorful piece to wear with my orange dress so I whipped this up earlier this week. What do you guys think? I thought about making some in different colors for my shop.

Tada! You made it to the end of my post, thanks for sticking with me even though these photos are fakes.

Happy Long Weekend.

Much love.

Fashion Flashback

I really wanted to do a style post today, but the weather was not cooperating. So instead I am bringing you a fashion flashback style post, this outfit is coming from you straight from 2004. So that’s me as a no makeup fresh faced 18 year old. My style has really changed over the years in a lot of ways like I used to wear band pins on all my clothes, jeans, and just let my hair go free and I rarely wore full face makeup. But one thing that hasn’t changed is my love of this jean jacket, I still wear it to this day (you can see it here).

It’s weird and sometime scary to look back at past outfits, it’s interesting to see how your style has evolved and how the trends always come back around. I highly recommend taking a trip down fashion memory lane.

much love.

I’m Back, Kinda…

Hello My Long Lost Friends! The Hubster and I arrived at our new home a couple of weeks ago after a long and trecherous journey. It has been a really difficult transition and I have so many thoughts on this new place fashion related and not. But for now I thought I would just do a nice normal outfit post, well sorta. I may be short on photos and the quality may be really low. This is because I don’t have internet of my own and just found an unsecure wireless to use. And the internet is so slow up here because it is so isolated. Living in the North is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

This is a great and versatile orangy/red dress that I got at H&M. The belt is thrifted and the jean jacket is from high school. I have been wearing this jean jacket a lot this season, especially since we moved because it is chilly here.

This is a great little hat a made last week, I am loving the fall colors already. It is such a romantic season.

I got this beautiful envelope clutch at the thrift store, it was made in brazil and real leather. It was an awesome find for $3! The jewelry is all thrifted too.

I am so sorry for my long absence and I apologize again if it is a week before I can post again. I promise to sort this all out soon and I am so grateful for everyone sticking with me.

much love.

Running Errands

I know most people find running errands to be a lot of work and they are just something you “have to” do. But I love running errands. Getting so much accomplished all in one go, walking around town and running into people you know. Plus walking around in a great outfit is always enjoyable.
This is my go-to carefree on the go errand running outfit.

This dress is Old Navy, the scarf and belt are thrifted, the bag is Spring and earrings are home made. Now this jean jacket is actually from when I was in high school if you can believe it. I have owned this jacket for 8 years and it is holding up beautifully.

My sister (who is a hair stylist) has been putting this beautiful yet subtle blue in my hair, but now that it is more summer like outside we are going to switch it up and make it pink next week.

These earrings are a DIY I got from another blogger, tomorrow I am going to post some of my favorite DIYs I have done from other DIY fashion blogs and links to their fabulous blogs.
Hope you guys are having a great Saturday.

Much Love.
