First, is there anything nicer than crisp new jeans? They look so good and fresh. Second, this is a perfect example of how you need to select colors that compliment your skin tone. Hubster has a lot of pink in his complexion, so wearing red only emphasis it. But here he chose to wear burgundy because it’s in the same family as red so you get a similar feel, but it’s darker and doesn’t make him look the same shade of red all over.
Happy Monday Loves!
P.S. His whole outfit is brought to you by Old Navy!
Don’t you love the monochromatic look Hubster is sporting today? In this oh-so-trendy color? I love how his outfit is so on trend, but he didn’t spend a fortune to put it together and it doesn’t scream “Look at me, I’m trendy!”. I think that’s the beauty of the monochrome look, it’s understated but so snazzy.
Shorts- Old Navy
He’s still sporting his Toms everyday, and I am so impressed at how well they are holding up. Even after surviving a crazy car wash he had with his little students on Saturday to raise Monday for a year end Pizza party.
I hope you guys had a happy Monday.
When I got home from work today to snap some shots of my Hubster for today’s post I found him already in his pj’s and asleep (at 5pm!) So, I pulled up this great old photo from last summer, I have to say I like this outfit better than his ratty Pajamas. I think he looks like a member of Mumford and Sons, and he explained that he plans on taking all his fashion cues from the band. Which I think is nice for him, it’s good to have somewhere to draw fashion inspiration from.
Shirt- via Fairweather
Jeans- Old Navy
I hope everybody had a great weekend and an tolerable Monday!
P.S. I am still working on going through all the submissions you guys sent in to do a Guest Post, I hope to get through them all and make my final selections tonight. IF you would like to be considered send me tonight an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
A casual leisure walk outfit. The different grays in this outfit add a put together feel to this relaxed outfit.
Sunnies, Jeans, Jacket- Old Navy
Tee- Glamour Kills (Do Things with passion or not at all)
As promised the weather is on our side now so I am back doing menswear Mondays! Which is all thanks to my lovely Hubster who makes the best model in my opinion and is very patient to do this for me.
Sweater- Mark’s Work Wearhouse
Leather Jacket- For Him U.K.
What I love about this outfit is that it’s got a bit of edge due to the leather jacket and aviators, but the jeans and scarf make a little softer, more casual. And the hat completes the look. It just seems so effortlessly cool to me, like a little bit James Dean.
Well, I hope you guys all enjoy the return of menswear Monday!
