It’s Collections Tuesdays! Okay, so this is the first one so let me explain. I posted my collection of animal rings a few weeks ago (you can see it here). People seemed to like it, so I thought it would be a nifty idea to post a weekly photo of one of my many collections (I am not a hoarder, I swear). So this is my small but growing collection of brooches. Over the last year I have kind of become obsessed with them. They are so versatile. You can pin them to your shirt, on your bag, in your hair and used as a necklace. The fantastic blog A Reason to be Fabulous has a how-to for how to make your brooch a ring. I usually pick them up at the flea market, and some have been passed down to me from my momma. I think my favorites are the owl and the crab. They really add some magic to my outfits.
Do you guys have some nifty collections? I thought of maybe doing a reader’s collections post, you would be interested? Let me know. I have, what I feel, is an awesome DIY this week. Plus a very special outfit post too. So keep an eye out for them.
much love.

Another Sunday of Flea Market Finds

Happy Sunday everyone! I had a beautiful Sunday full of coffee, samosas, bff time and flea market finds. I found some amazing pieces this week, there was actually too much there this week so I had to leave so much behind.

I think I must have been a crow in a past life because everything I picked up is so shiny. So, what I got here is a spider pin, a ship pin, an owl ring (a gift for my friend), a gold ring with rubies, rhinestone square earrings, and a gold clutch. I bought this gold clutch because of its amazing lion head closure. It is so interesting and unique and beautiful. However, I might cover it in a different fabric. I am not sure I am a fan of the all over gold. Thoughts?

Don’t you love this little guy? I thought you needed a close up to really appreciate his beauty.

I hope y’all are enjoying your day and doing something you love.

Much love.
